SeqPastePrivacy Policy

The short version: what you copy with SeqPaste stays on your Mac and is never uploaded. There are no accounts and no tracking. The only information that leaves your Mac is anonymous purchase information, handled by Apple and RevenueCat, so that in-app purchases work.
Who we are
SeqPaste ("the app") is developed by Md Imran Ansari, publishing as PNT Apps ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why. If you have questions, contact us at support@pntapps.com.
Information that stays on your Mac
To do its job, SeqPaste reads what you copy while saving is turned on and keeps it in a queue. This includes:
- Items you copy (text, formatted text, images and file references) while saving is on
- Your queue, history and saved queues
- Your settings, such as shortcuts, ignored apps and paste mode
All of this is stored only on your Mac, inside the app's own sandboxed storage. We never receive it, it is never uploaded, and it is never shared with anyone. You can clear your history or the queue at any time, and Settings → Reset SeqPaste deletes everything. Uninstalling the app also removes it.
To protect sensitive information, SeqPaste automatically skips copies that password managers mark as concealed, and you can choose apps whose copies are never saved.
Permissions the app asks for
- Paste from Other Apps (clipboard access): lets SeqPaste see what you copy, so items can be added to your queue.
- Accessibility (Auto-Paste only, called Device Control and Data Access on newer macOS): lets SeqPaste press ⌘V or type text for you, only when you press a paste shortcut or button. It does not record what you type, read your screen or control other apps. Manual Paste works without this permission.
You can turn these permissions off at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Information used for in-app purchases
SeqPaste offers optional paid features (for example a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase). When you make or restore a purchase:
- Apple processes the payment. We never see your name, Apple Account, card or billing details.
- RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider, receives your purchase history (which product, when, its status) together with an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID. This lets the app know which features you have unlocked and lets us see aggregated sales figures.
This purchase information is not linked to your identity, is not combined with your clipboard content, and is not used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-up
- No advertising and no tracking across apps or websites
- No selling or sharing of personal information
- No third-party analytics inside the app
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in macOS settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not include your clipboard content.
Children
SeqPaste is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because your clipboard data never leaves your Mac, you are always in control of it and can delete it at any time from within the app. For questions about purchase information, or to exercise any privacy rights you have under applicable law (such as GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act), contact us at support@pntapps.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
